Maras are masters of sleep and nightmares. They easily force their prey to sleep, quickly applying a mass of mental afflictions through nightmares. While some of these afflictions may be simple illusions and paranoia, the most powerful Maras can cause such mental distress that it can induce fatal heart attacks in weakened victims.
