Commodities refer to the raw resources of Mystavaria, which are used in
crafting, smithing, construction, and almost any other means of creating
new items and equipment. Resources range from common (such as wood and
stone) to rare gems and ores.

The gathering skills focus on harvesting and collecting raw resources
from the world, such as mining for ores or farming for crops. Most
resources must go through an additional step to prepare and process them
for use in the crafting skills.

Most cities and major villages have a trading centre or marketplace which
can be used to buy or sell commodities at. Unlike other shops, these stores
are strictly reserved for raw resources and do not offer or purchase normal
goods or other objects.
