Help: Movement

Mystavaria is a collection of thousands of locations, also sometimes
referrred to as rooms. To move between these locations, you may use
standard compass directions, or more commonly, the abbreviations of
them (so, S for SOUTH, SW for SOUTHWEST, etc.). Additionally, you
may encounter exits that go IN, OUT, UP, or DOWN.

Most locations display obvious exits when you LOOK at them, but you
may also type EXITS to see a summary of available exits.

Map
In any location, you can type MAP to see an ascii map of your local
area. Turn MOVING MAP ON to automatically display this map every
time you move to a new location. Further information and a map key are
available in HELP MAP.

Obstacles
During your explorations, you may encounter obstacles that impede your
progress, such as a door. HELP OBSTACLES addresses how to handle
various types of obstacles and terrain.

Other Forms of Movement
There are a handful of other movement related commands worth noting.
Certain objects, such as portals, can be entered using the syntax
ENTER <object>. In some cases, you may also be able to leave the
object, which can be done using LEAVE or GO OUT. You will find
that you need to SWIM across water locations, and may come across
terrain or objects that you can CLIMB. See HELP SWIMMING and
HELP CLIMBING for more information.
