Help: Ignore
Mystavaria strives to be accommodating to players of all types. To help
tailor your experience, we have the IGNORE command available with options
that allow you to ignore or notice certain things or aspects of the world
which may not necessarily be vitally important to everyone.
IGNORE OOC
OOC can be ignored if you do not wish to have any visibility to out of
character communication. Enabling this will make it so you no longer see
messages from other players that are sent using the OSAY, OTELL,
and OEMOTE commands.
IGNORE FLORA
Trees, herbs, and plants are displayed as interactable objects within locations,
however non-sylvans, non-lumberjacks and non-woodworkers may find them entirely
irrelevant. As such, flora can be ignored to stop you from seeing them
listed with other objects in a location.
IGNORE TIMEMSGS
Since Mystavaria does not abide by "real world" time, we use what we refer
to as "time messages" to help players maintain a grasp of time within the
game world. You will notice a time of day message appended to every
description as you walk around the world. Ignoring time messages will
suppress the time of day message from appearing.
IGNORE EXITS
Well, we can't say we highly recommend this option, but for those who
prefer relying on the map or using prompt settings to display exits, you
can choose to ignore exits to remove them from displaying when you move.
IGNORE OBJECTS
Another one we can't say we highly recommend, but perhaps for those using
screenreaders or for those who are purely combat focused, ignore objects
can be used to stop them from displaying as you move about.
NOTICING
All options above can be reverted by simply using NOTICE <thing>
(ex. NOTICE FLORA).
Should you need a reminder of anything you may have ignored, you can
use IGNORING to see a list of all ignored settings.
Syntax:
