Help: Screenreader

This article is designed to try to offer help and support for blind and
low vision players. While Evennia (the framework Mystavaria is built on)
is screenreader friendly out of the box, we are striving to further
improve the experience with some additional options.

We have compiled our recommended screenreader settings into a single
command, which can be enabled using SCREENREADER ON. This will
disable our built-in map feature, turn the view of your health and mana
into percentage based, and also disable commands that display tables,
instead relaying the information in a straight list.

Additional options you may want to explore:
1. HELP BRIEF for information about the BRIEF and VERBOSE
commands.
2. HELP IGNORE for a variety of things you can choose to IGNORE
or NOTICE within the game world.
3. HELP PROMPT for further customisation to your prompt, including
the option to turn it off completely.
4. HELP IVIEW for switching between tabled and list displays.
5. HELP SYNONYMS to give your items unique synonyms that make sense
to you.

All of the above settings can be altered individually and we recommend
you experiment with each to find what works best for you.
