Help: Prompt
Learning Your Prompt
Your prompt is a quick overview of certain settings and statuses
relevant to your character. As you advance, you will likely find
yourself utilising the prompt to display at least your health, mana,
equilibrium and balance. However, there are many other settings that
you can customise with the below options.
PROMPT ON/OFF/HOSTILE
By default, our prompt is turned off so as not to confuse new players
with irrelevant information. PROMPT ON can be used to display a quick
glance view of your health, mana, equilibrium and balance. Additionally,
PROMPT HOSTILE can be specified to only display a prompt when your
status is flagged as "aggressive", thus likely signaling combat involvement.
PROMPT PERCENTAGE
Using PROMPT PERCENTAGE, you may switch your prompt between showing
health and mana as a percentage or as full numbers. In either option, your
health amount will change colours to alert you of significant health loss.
PROMPT BARS
Using PROMPT BARS, you may toggle your health and mana to be displayed
as visual health bars rather than numbers of percentages in your prompt.
Your health bars will change colours to alert you of significant health/mana
loss. Using PROMPT BARS again will turn the visual display back off.
PROMPT VAR <variable name>
Prompt variables are one of the most customisable parts of our prompt
settings, however they might take a little time for you to get just
right. When you add a new variable to your prompt, it will be the last
variable to display. Ensure you turn on/off variables in the order you
want them to appear. The PROMPT VAR command can be used to add a
variable to your prompt, or remove a variable from your prompt if it's
already in it. We recommend experimentation.
Here is a list of our current prompt variables:

PROMPT PRIMARY <colour> and PROMPT SECONDARY <colour>
By default, your prompt will display as one solid bright green colour.
Should you wish to change this, you can do so using PROMPT PRIMARY <colour>,
which will apply to the variable name and PROMPT SECONDARY <colour>,
which applies to the information provided by the variable. To see a full
list of colour codes, use COLOR XTERM 256.
PROMPT SEPARATOR <separator>
By default, your prompt will use ':' as a separator between the
variable name and variable output. Should you wish to change this, you may
do so using PROMPT SEPARATOR <separator>. Separators can be up to 4
characters long. At this time, we cannot support using spaces in your
separator.
PROMPT LOC BELOW/ABOVE/BEFORE/AFTER/OFF
The above options can be used to specify where your prompt variables will
be displayed on your prompt line. We recommend experimenting to see what
works best for you. PROMPT LOC OFF can be used to stop displaying
your prompt variables.
Syntax:
PROMPT ON/OFF
PROMPT PERCENTAGE or PROMPT PERC
