Game Help: Age

In Mystavaria, characters do not age naturally. Your character will not
gain or lose stats, experience debuffs, nor face an eventual natural death
due to the passage of time within the game world.

    Birthdays
Your character begins with a recorded birthday, and once each in-game year,
that day comes around again. While mostly ceremonial, birthdays can be
acknowledged however you choose - quietly, ignored, or marked with celebration.

    Lifespan and Immortality
While free from mundane aging, your existence is not invulnerable. Characters
in Mystavaria are "functionally immortal" in that they do not die of old age,
however "temporary" death is still possible. You may return after death,
retaining your skills, knowledge, and possessions. Additionally, certain
powerful afflictions may alter your body's condition or threaten your life in
    more lasting ways.

    Progeria
The most infamous of these afflictions is Progeria, a rare and cursed condition
that causes rapid, unnatural aging. The disease progresses through four distinct
stages, each marked by an accelerating decline in physical and mental health.

In its earliest stage, Progeria can be difficult to detect. The first symptom
is subtle hair loss, which is easy enough to overlook or pass off as something
else. By stage two, however, more noticeable effects emerge, such as shortness
of breath and episodes of confusion. As the disease advances, the symptoms
worsen, progressing quickly enough to make it clear that something is
    deeply wrong.

In its final stage, Progeria causes systemic organ failure, ending in death
by heart attack or stroke. Because of its subtle onset and swift deterioration,
this affliction should be taken very seriously. If Progeria is suspected, rapid
diagnosis and curing may be the only hope for survival.
